Bears will be bears. Better to hide the kids. Beware! They are coming out. They are bigger now than ever before.
But, they're in line. They have hats on it must be play time. Were they born for this? Is this the life they're longing for?
Lion out the door - He says "Wait until you hear him roar." Puts him on a stand, motions "Shhh", to the waiting fans.
"I don't know what you want me to say? We all play the very same game. Look at you, you've already paid. Why don't you just enjoy the show?"
There's an elephant in the room. And he's staring back at you. He's huge, but in here he seems so small - so powerless against us all. There is more for him. A place where he is feared, a place where he is the king because, he sure ain't here.

Run away. There's an avalanche falling real soon. Go today, the tidal wave is gonna hit you.
No. I'll hunker down when I feel the winds start to grow and you know - I just don't feel like going out. It's probably fear, but the mountaineer in me thinks that I'm brave. So, I'll stay.
Help me out up above my walls are caving in. I need some help to melt myself out again and know I say I'll change but I won't and I'll stay buried in the snow. Yeah, I'll stay with what I know.

Take my breath away, I'll exchange it for smoke. I'll be the fuel for the fire to keep the house warm. A boat under water to make the tides rise. I'm fear and desire strapped with a strange disguise. You'll never see the real me.
You told me that you know best. But, you don't. You're no different from the rest.
And - who are you?
I used to be just like you. You have it all figured out? Yeah, me too. We're in the same *maze, but you started late. You're gonna catch me, just enjoy the wait.
You send me away in confused arrays. In lines across the board game we both play that I'm never going to win!
Your tongue lashes from side to side. You'd be better off if you'd just left it behind those teeth and listened up, my friend.

Crossing

Come on, run! Keep up with me! Hold my hand baby, please. Two spots left! We need aboard the journey to the New World. Three days out - I can't see land. I miss the sand. For weeks in - I'm wondering if we're lost in the wind.
I messed up. We should've stayed. We can't go back. We're on our way. I made a mistake. I've buried us in the lake. I'm just waiting for the rain.
The storm is coming. I ain't fit to lick the boots of these men. They are standing and ready. I'm shaking - unsteady - against the wall.The waves are growing. No way of knowing if this is the worst of it. Captain yells "Cut the top sails! She can't handle this."
I could've lived merrily but I failed. The wind was never behind my sails when I needed it and now it's pushing me off course. Woe is me, it's not my day. What if it's me pushing these winds my way? Maybe, but I'll never believe it. Pull me under. Stop my breathing.
I tied the stones to my feet. Jumped overboard in the night while everyone was asleep. I'm gonna sink into the hollow where the fish can't follow me.

Fire Escape

Get out on the fire escape! Come on! Get up! We've gotta run! I'm not joking, come on for real! It's getting closer can't you feel?
It was lightning before the thunder. Burned through the floors, undercover. A stove left on - a simple mistake. Now I'm shaking her, "let's get away!".
Down below the screams begin. She wakes up and shouts, "What's happening!?" The smoke rolls underneath the door. The killer has reached our floor.
A disco ball in the dark. A dog with no bark. Death found you anyway. There's so many ways I could've got you out and kept you safe!
What if I made her go first? She was nervous, I'm the worst.
I have to live with it, everyday. But I can't go back. No, I can't replay it.
Down the hall we're sprinting but we're slow. The floor is heating up it's burning right below our feet. We make a sound retreat to the other side. The place is a mess - makes it harder to run. We get to the window. I can't get it undone because, we had sealed it up. I break the glass we're gonna get cut. She steps to the window and then she backs up. She says "you go first." I step out and look back to her. I see her fall through the floor. I ran up and she was gone to the other side.
